MAXIMUS AS CAESAR, (A.D. 235-238), AE dupondius or as, (8.82 g), issued 236-238, obv. MAXIMVS CAES GERM, bare headed draped bust to right of Maximus, rev. PIETAS AVG, Sacrificial implements, SC in exergue, (S.8413, RIC 12, cf.C.8, BMC 208). Brown patina, good very fine and very scarce.
