CARACALLA, posthumous issue under Elagabalus, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, Rome mint, posthumous issue, issued A.D. 218, (3.32 g) obv. bare head of Caracalla to right, around DIVO ANTONINO MAGNO, rev. CONSECRATIO around, eagle standing to left, head to right, (S.7648, RIC 717 [Severus Alexander], RSC 32 [Caracalla], BMC 7). Soft strike, nearly extremely fine/very fine and very rare.
