PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates II, (123-88 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.15 g), Rhagae mint, obv. medium bust to left with beard, wearing tiara with large star in centre, rev. archer seated right on throne, five line inscription, (cf.S.7372, Sellwood 28.7, Shore 99, Sunrise 300). Bright, minor flan crack, otherwise good extremely fine and scarce.
