SYRIA, Seleucis & Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontem, (Antioch), Philip I, (A.D. 244-249), billon tetradrachm, (8.13 g), issued 244, obv. radiate cuirassed bust right of Philip I, around AVTOK K M IOV**LI FILIPPO*C CEB, rev. eagle facing open wings, head to left with wreath, around, **DHMARC EXOU*CIAC, S C in exergue, (cf.S.3958, McAlee 887, Prieur 318-9). Silvered surface, spot of corrosion on obverse, otherwise extremely fine and scarce.
