BITHYNIA, Kios, (c.350-300 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (2.33 g), obv. Apollo laureate head to right, rev. prow of galley to left ornamented with a star, magistrate name **MILH TOS* above and below, (cf.S.3757, SNG Cop. 370, Le Rider, Propontide Hoard 334-352). Nearly very fine/fine and scarce.

Ex N.F. Schulten of Cologne, Auction Sale March 27, 1990 (lot 158 part) coming from the collection of Karl Hollscheck (died 1941) of Vienna, Austria. Hollscheck formed one of the largest ever collections of ancient coins.
