THRACE, Kingdom of, Lysimachus, (323-281 B.C.), AE 18, (5.31 g), Lysimacheia mint, struck under Kassander c.317-305 B.C., obv. laureate head of Apollo to right, rev. horseman galloping right, above **FILOPPOU*, below **LY* and forepart of lion right, (cf.S.6696, SNG ANS 999, Thompson 2, Price P4). Dark green toning, nearly extremely fine and rare.
