BRITISH GUIANA, Essequibo and Demerary, local coinage, 1808, three guilders, E & D over 3. G.L in relief in a beaded oval indent, countermarked on a Charles IIII Mexico City Mint eight reales, 1806TH (21.93g) (Pr.2; KM.2). Toned, good very fine and extremely rare.

Ex S.A.H.Whetmore (lot 277), Ray Byrne (privately in 1966) and E.H.Roehrs (lot 322) Collections.
