ANONYMOUS SERIES, (225-212 B.C.), silver didrachm (quadrigatus), (6.34 gm), Uncertain mint (possibly Rome), obv. laureate janiform head of the Dioscuri, border of dots, rev. Jupiter in quadriga to right, driven by Victory, Jupiter holds sceptre and hurls thunderbolt, in exergue ROMA incuse on tablet, (S.31 [£225 VF], Cr.28/3, Syd. 64, RSC 23). Toned, good very fine and scarce.
