THESSALY, Larissa (under Macedonian domination), (c.350-320 B.C.), silver didrachm, (11.40 gm), obv. head of nymph Larissa three-quarter face to left, wearing necklace, rev. horse trotting to right, around **LARI S AIW[N]* in exergue, (S.2119, BMC 55, SNG Cop. 119). Slightly porous obverse, otherwise attractive grey tone, good very fine and rare.

Purchased from Spink Australia, November 29, 1989 and Noble Numismatics Sale 64 (lot 2250) and Noble Numismatics Auction Sale 77 (lot 3153).
