MACEDON, Kingdom of, Antigonos Gonatas (277-239 B.C.), AE 16, Pella or Amphipolis mint, (3.78 grams), obv. Athena head to right with Corinthian helmet, B on helmet, rev. Pan advancing to right erecting trophy, B to left, A to right, ANTI monogram below, (cf.S.6786, SNG Alpha Bank 1045, SNG Munchen 1103-4); together with a Trajan AE As, rev. Pietas; also a series of third century AE including Elagabalus, Victorinus, Tetricus. Toned, poor - very fine. (16)
