INDIA, WWII, Officers' Club, Chakulia, chit for eight annas; Golmuri Club, Golmuri, chit for one anna, punch cancelled. The first with some edge chips, otherwise very fine - good very fine. (2)
Chakulia Airfield was used by the RAF and USAF during WWII. It was the headquarters of USAF 40th Bombardment Squadron flying the B-29 Flying Fortress. Golmuri is near Jamshedpur in East Singhbhum District of Jharkhand.
