EIGHTEENTH CENTURY TOKEN, Sussex, Chichester, Dally & Son, proof halfpenny, 1794, in silver, obv. bust of Elizabeth I three-quarters right in high ruff, rev. Chichester Cross, edge 'payable at dallys chichester', (11.77gm), (D&H 15). Extremely fine, golden tone and very rare.
Ex Dix Noonan Webb (DNW), Auction Sale December 15, 2005 (lot 2260), previously provenance stated as being bought from M. Rasmussen FPL 8, Summer 2005 (145).
