TASMANIA, Table Cape, promissory note no.68 dated April 18th, 1889 due four months after date, for £44.0.0, payable to C.Webb at National Bank of Tasmania, Stanley, name of R.W.MacKenzie, Table Cape in vignette at left, printed by Aikenhead & Button, red and white embossed Tasmania duty stamp for sixpence, oval stamp (twice) of The Commercial Bank of Tasmania Limited, Latrobe, signatures and stamp on back. Very fine.

R.W.MacKenzie was a real estate agent and stock auctioneer at Table Cape. He was the auctioneer for the local Pastoral and Agricultural Society.
