COLONY OF VICTORIA. Letters Patent for Improvements in treating Fatty Matters in the Manufacture of Stearine and Sperm Candles to Godfrey William Praagst, civil engineer of Williamstown, signed and sealed by Governor Henry Barkly, 24th November 1862, on vellum; together with share certificate for The Melbourne Patent Stearine Candle Company Limited, 3rd January 1866, for one £300 share, made out to Adalbert Kruge Esq, signed by Henry Henty as Director and a completed transfer from Adalbert Kruge to David Masterton, dated 10th April 1866. Slight foxing to vellum document, folds, pin holes on share certificate and transfer and 15mm tear along centre fold of transfer, otherwise good very fine and rare.
