NEW SOUTH WALES, Transportation token, a stipple-engraved Penny [probably 1797], obv. 'Maria/love. when/this you see/ Remember/me', within wreath border, rev. 'When I/am far away/Charles/Love/1827', with branches in legend. Good very fine with attractive patination.

Ex Dix Noonan Webb (DNW), Auction Sale December 15, 2005 (lot 2260), previously provenance stated as being bought from Coins & Antiquities in London.
