DOMITIAN, as Caesar under Vespasian, (A.D. 81-96), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issue of A.D. 79, (3.21 gm), obv. CAESAR AVG F DOMITIANVS COS VI, laureate head to right, rev. PRINCEPS IVVENTVTIS, Salus standing, face to right, leaning on column and holding snake, which she feeds from a patera, (S.2642, RIC V243, RSC 384); Plautilla (wife of Caracalla), (c.A.D. 202-205), silver denarius, issued 202, (2.98 gm), obv. draped bust of Plautilla to right, around PLAVTILLAE AVGVSTA, rev. Caracalla and Plautilla standing facing each other PROPAGO IMPERI around, (S.7073, RIC 362, RSC 21). First toned, with many surface scratches, otherwise nearly very fine, second with flan crack, otherwise good fine. (2)
