OCTAVIAN AND MARK ANTONY, (40-39 B.C.), silver quinarius, mint moving with Octavian, (1.64 grams), obv. III VIR R.P.C., bust of Concordia to right, with diadem and veil, rev. clasped hands around a caduceus M ANTON C CAESAR, (S.1575, Cr.529/4b, Syd.1195, RSC.Antony 67). Deeply toned, slight chip on flan, possibly plugged, otherwise very fine and scarce.

Ex Spink & Son with ticket. This issue was struck to commemorate the reconciliation between Antony and Octavian.
