PELOPONNESOS, Argolis, Pellene, silver triobol or hemidrachm, 360's-350's B.C., (2.64 grams), obv. laureate head of Apollo to left, to right behind head a monogram of **PE* downwards, rev. **PEL* across in large letters all within a laurel wreath tied at right with two inwardly curving leaves, (cf.S.2966 [p.272, £125], BCD 581.1 (p.156, LHS 96), BMC 1 [p.31, Pl.VI, 9], Weber 3976 (p.435, Pl.146), McClean 6346 (p.409, Pl.221, 7), Traite 819 [p.551, Pl.CCXXII, 22], SNG Cop. 209 [Pl.4]). Fine/very fine, very rare.
