SICILY, Syracuse, period of Dionysios I, (405-367 B.C.), AE drachm, AE 30, (32.86 grams), obv. head of Athena wearing Corinthian helmet to left bound with olive wreath, to left **S*YRA, rev. starfish between two dolphins with central pellet, (S.1189, CNS 62; SNG ANS 455. BMC 287, Weber 1630). Dark brown patina, some surface oxidation, with clear ethnic, otherwise good very fine and very scarce.
