SICILY, Katane, (263-200 B.C.), AE 21, (6.54 grams), obv. river god reclining left on amphora, holding rhyton in right hand, reed in left hand, rev. caps of the Dioskouri surmounted by stars, monograms and KATA **NAIWN* below, (S.1069, SNG ANS -, Calciati III 9/1 [p.97] = Virzi 815 [This Coin], BMC 54, SNG Cop.185). Very fine mottled green and black patina.
