CAT[O] below, [ROMA] in exergue, (S.149, Cr.274/1, Syd.417, Porcia 1); M. Porcius Laeca, (c.125 B.C.), silver denarius (3.75 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head to right, star below chin, rev. Liberty in quadriga to right, Victory flying above, M. PO[RC] below, ROM[A] in exergue, (S.146, Cr.270/1, Syd.513, Porcia 3). Some uneven toning, otherwise fine - nearly very fine. (2)
