THE BANK OF AUSTRALASIA, uniform issue, specimen five pounds, Wellington, 23rd August 1932, B000000 (Robb.B.841; L.413; P.S134), imprint of Thomas De La Rue & Coy. Ltd. London, perforated CANCELLED, 170 inked at top right margin. Piece missing from bottom left corner, otherwise good extremely fine.

Ex Spink London April 2010, Sale 1023 (lot 841). A complete note with the same numbers was previously sold for $6800 in our Sale 82 (Lot 2301).
