JAPANESE SHIPBUILDER, cast bronze sign (5kgs, 320mm x 403mm) oval in shape, blackened background, raised border and letters, logo at centre top, Japanese text and at bottom the company name in English 'Uchida Shipbuilding Co. Ltd', vendor suggests c.1940s. Extremely fine.
