PASTE POT, in terracotta (14mm high), narrow neck, around main body with underglaze grey colur picture transfer-printing of fox hunting scenes, maker's mark on base 'IV / L / R / Rd / 19 / 5'. Extremely fine.

Together with tear-out article dated 1971 on Staffordshire ware pomade or shrimp-paste jars.
