MOURNING RING, in 18ct gold (3.7gms) with black enamel, named for 'William Sing : OB : 23 May 1864 : AET. 64', inside engraved with his wife's name, 'Eliza Daldy Sing Obt 25th Octr 1867 AEt 66'. Good very fine.

William Sing, born 25.9.1799, the second son of John Sing and Sophia Sing, married Eliza Daldy Pratt, daughter of Thomas Pratt of Ilford on 3.8.1825. Inherited Manor of Worfield and various parcels of land on 16.4.1822 and sold for ?7,912.4.3 on 27.10.1863.
