France, Second Republic, Lyon, Democratic and Social Republic, 1848, in tin (47mm), obverse, Pal axe under Phrygian cap flanked by crossed daggers, in the exergue, 'Living in Working or Die Fighting', reverse, 9-lines of text in reference to a speech of Louis-Joseph Charlier made in Lyon in 1794 against the aristocrats; France, USTF shooting medal, undated, in silver (shield 25x25.5mm) with suspension loop, obverse, rooster left with target behind, reverse, plain except for small laurel wreath at base; Italy, Kingdom of Two Sicilies medal, 1832, trial strike of obverse in lead (40mm), features bust of Consul Gaius Marius left by V.Catenacci, struck by L.Taglioni, Naples (Ricciardi-D'Auria 175). Very fine - nearly extremely fine. (3)
