VIETNAM, Annam, Tu Duc (1830-1841), silver five lang curved bar, not dated, c.1860, (190 grams), obv. two groups of characters, on two sides and one end, with no characters on the upper face and on its base, (cf.Schroeder Pl. LXIV [Minh Mang] and cf.Thierry 'Catalogue des Monnaies Vietnamiennes' Pl.36 No.1854 [Tu Duc] and Thierry, Les Collections Monetaires V241 [ten lang). Good very fine and rare.
