VIETNAM, Annam, Tu Duc (1830-1841), silver twenty five lang flat bar, not dated, c.1860, (875 grams), obv. three groups of characters on top, with no characters on any other sides or face, (cf.Schroeder Pl. LXIV [Minh Mang] and cf.Thierry 'Catalogue des Monnaies Vietnamiennes' Pl.36 No.1854 [Tu Duc] and Thierry, Les Collections Monetaires V240, heavier weight and different characters). Very fine and extremely rare.
