NETHERLANDS EAST INDIES, Maluka in Borneo, 1813 (AH1228) an issue by Alexander Hare in his private estate from a grant by the Sultan, copper duit, obv. "Duwit Mathrif" (market doit) in Arabic in shield, rev. date 1813 over 1228 in hexagon shield, (KM.11, Scholten 981 [Pl.XIII]). Fine or better and rare.

The area was repossessed by the Dutch in 1816.
