FIRST ISSUE, one pound, Wellington, date faded but must be 1914 due to the low serial number, A001028, imprint of Sands & McDougall Pty Ltd, Melbourne (Robb.H.121[this note]; L.475; P.S271). Tiny hole at centre in folds, otherwise fine and very rare, the only note of this variety in private hands.
