London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, SPECIMEN stamped horizontally in Manager area, 'October 20th 1863 (inserted before date)' added in pencil in the bottom margin (Robb.B.244a; L.402; P.S112). Some water staining, otherwise good very fine.
