CHARLES I, (1625 - 1649), Tower mint under Parliament, silver crown, mm sun both sides, issued 1645-6, Group V, (29.82 grams), obv. no pellet to left of mint mark, rev. group of four pellets either side of mint mark, (S.2762, N.2199, Cooper XXVI/XXXIX). Toned, very fine and rare.

Ex Dolphin Coins, London, March 1981 and previously from the Spink Auctions No.6, 11 October 1979 (lot 36) coming from the N. Asherson Collection who bought it in Brighton in September 1956.
