JAMES I, (1603 - 1625), third coinage 1619-25, silver crown, mm thistle, issued 1621-3, (29.61 grams), rev. plumes over shield, (S.2665, N.2121, Cooper VIII/XVI). Lightly toned, very fine and rare.

Ex L.V. Larsen Collection, Glendining & Co., London, November 1, 1972 and Lord (Rodney) Smith of Marlow Collection, purchased from Spink London, February 1985, with tickets.
