JAMES I, (1603 - 1625), second coinage 1604-19, silver crown, mm escallop, issued 1606-7, (29.94 grams), (S.2652, N.2097, Cooper VI/XI). Lightly toned, slightly double struck on the reverse, very fine and extremely rare.

Ex Lord (Rodney) Smith of Marlow Collection, purchased from Spink London, February 1985, with tickets.
