JAMES I, (1603 - 1625), second coinage 1604-19, silver crown, mm lis, issued 1604-5, (30.01 grams), (S.2652, N.2097, Cooper IV/VII). Lightly toned, slightly double struck on the obverse, very fine/nearly extremely fine and rare.
Ex Dolphin Coins, London, July 1983 and previously from the S.A.H. Whetmore Collection, Glendining & Co, London, 14 July 1961 (lot 14) with ticket.
