CNUT, (1016-1035), silver penny, pointed helmet type, issued 1024-1030, obv. central circle, helmeted and draped bust left holding sceptre. + CNV: TREC around. rev. central circle, short voided cross joined at centre by 2 circles, inner pellet and in angle a broken annulet around inner pellet. + PYNSIGE ON LVND: around, (S.1158, N.787, BMC.XIV). As struck very sharp and lustrous, uncirculated.

Ex Millenia Collection, Ira and Larry Goldberg, lot 241. NGC encapsulated and graded MS 63, realised US$747.
