CHARLES I, (1625 - 1649), Oxford mint, silver crown, mm -, dated 1642, Morrieson A-1, (29.63 grams), obv. Shrewsbury horseman on groundline, plume without band in field, rev. three plumes with bands in field, colon stops in legend, (S.2946, N.2405, Brooker 869 [same dies). Toned, round and attractive, nearly very fine and rare.
