TRIBUTE MEDAL, WWI, Lidcombe, in silver (38mm) with ribbon and suspension brooch intact, scroll on reverse engraved, 'A Tribute From / The Citizens / of / Lidcombe / On His Return From / Active Service / 1918', edge engraved, J.Evans, obverse the goddess Victory facing and holding a laurel wreath out above a Gallipoli landing scene at daybreak, below the designer's name, 'FAMES', reverse, Australian coat-of-arms atop a scroll engraved as described above, around, 'He Heard His Country's Call'. Nearly extremely fine.

Together with a generic award medal in silver (38mm) with loop suspender, obverse, laurel wreath, reverse, plain, stamped 'MB Ld', hallmarked (1917); fob in sterling silver, reverse, plain, stamped 'W.A.', hallmarked (1911).
