GROUP OF FOUR: Military Medal (GVR); 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. M2-055035 Pte G.Drury. A.S.C. All medals impressed. Extremely fine.
Together with delivery boxes and notes for British War Medal and Victory Medal and newspaper article on death of Mr Drury in 1969. Article states that he was awarded the Military Medal in WWI for rescuing wounded men under heavy shell fire during the battle of Loos. During WWII he was driver for Dr P.Kinmont, Chief Medical Officer for Newark A.R.P. Services.
