WALES, George IV (1820-1830), retrospective pattern crown, dated 1830, obv. portrait of King to left, around GEORGIUS III D:G: BRITANNIAR: REX F:D:, rev. Welsh dragon on tablet, crown and ANNO DOM and date 18 30 above, WALES CYMRU below, 5 S below, edge plain, 38.6mm diameter, in five different metals nickel silver, copper, aluminium, golden alloy and pewter, lot comprises 30 pieces in 5 metals. Uncirculated. (150 pcs)

Produced in limited edition quantities by INA Ltd in 2008 to illustrate the potential which had existed for the creation of a larger series of crown-sized coins for this short reign.
