IRELAND, Waterford, Munster Dining Rooms Waterford Branch, canteen token in brass (26mm) edge milled; Civilian Canteen, Curragh, fourpence, in copper (24mm) edge milled; Dublin, Culley's Canteen in brass (20mm) edge milled; Dublin Gas Workers Canteen, one penny in copper (22mm) and (26mm), twopence in brass, copper (2) one with Quinn in centre of reverse, in white metal (all 29mm). Mostly very fine, the first three rare. (9)
Ex W.J. Noble Collection, Sale 61B (lot 600) and previously the second acquired in London in 1970's, the third from C.J. Denton in 1988, the others ex Dublinia (lots 399 and 401) Collection.
