CAMBRIDGE, David Hood's halfpenny, wheatsheaf/legend (D&H 19b) struck on a large and thicker flan within a collar, edge plain. Two metal flaws on obverse, red and brown uncirculated and sharply struck up like a proof.

Ex W.J. Noble Collection, Sale 58B (lot 45) and purchased from Spink in 1987 Numismatic Circular No. 3174.
