(EAST INDIA COMPANY) AWADH, Allahabad Mint Coinage, issued under EIC control, silver rupees with fish symbol, issued in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H. 1173-1221, A.D. 1759-1806), issue with fifteen pointed star year [1206] (1791-2) and symbol "4", another 120[5] (1790-1), both with fixed regnal year 26, (Pr.-, KM.585, 587). Good very fine and both scarce. (2)

Ex R. Climpson Collection, Noble Numismatics Sale 85 (lot 2216) and previously Noble Numismatics Sale 59 (lot 2266) and earlier from Robert Senior, England.
