JAHANGIR, (A.D. 1605-1628), gold Zodiac half mohur (5.46 grams), Aries type, Agra mint. dated AH 1028, RY - (1618/19 AD), obv. ram skipping to left surrounded by solar rays, rev. "The money of Agra gave ornaments to gold by Jahangir Shah, of Akbar Shah" with AH date and regnal year off flan, (cf.KM.180.1, IMC -, Hull -, BMC -). Extremely fine and a later copy of a denomination not previously noted, struck from the same obverse die as the Aries mohur in this sale.
