LEO III AND CONSTANTINE V, (717-741), AE follis, (1.76 grams), struck at Syracuse mint, issued from 720-741, obv. Facing standing bust of Leo holding akakia, to left [**L]/E/O/N and to right **[D/E/]*C/**P*, rev. facing standing figure of Constantine to left K/W/N/S to right **[D]/E C**P*, (S.1531, DOC 55, BMC 21, Spahr 319). Most of ethnic visible, short on flan as usual, otherwise good very fine and rare.
