GALERIUS MAXIMIAN, (A.D. 305-311), issue as Caesar, Heraclea mint, issued A.D. 296-7, (11.516 grams), obv. laureate head of Maximianus to right, around GAL VAL MAXIMIANVS NOB CAES, rev. around GENIO POPV LI ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, HTE in exergue, (cf.S.3709, RIC 17a). Nearly extremely fine.
