DIOCLETIAN, (A.D. 284-305), AE folles, Ticinum mint, issued A.D. 302-3, (10.470 grams), obv. laureate head of Diocletian to right, around IMP C C VAL DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG, rev. around GENIO POPV LI ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, **G* to right, .TS. in exergue, (cf.S.3533, RIC 25a); Galerius Maximian, (A.D. 305-311), AE follis, Heraclea mint, issued A.D. 306-7, (6.756 grams), obv. laureate head of Maximianus to right, around IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, rev. around GENIO POPV LI ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, HT**D* in exergue, star in left field, (cf.S.3718, RIC 30). Very fine, both scarce. (2)
