ZENOBIA, Usurper, (A.D. 268-272), AE antoninianus, (3.560 grams), Antioch mint, 2nd emission of March-May 272, obv. Draped bust to right, wearing stephane, set on crescent, around [S] ZENOBIA AVG, rev. Juno standing facing, head to left, holding patera and sceptre, to left, peacock standing left, head right, IVNO R[EGIN]A, H in exergue, (S.11732, RIC 2, ; BN 1267a var. [no H in exergue], MIR 360). Nearly very fine with rough surface, very rare.

Ex Gordon Parry Collection. The lot also includes a rather corroded example of Salonina with similar reverse (2.242 grams).
