VOLUSIAN, (A.D. 251-253), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, issued 251-2, (3.646 grams), obv. radiate bust draped to right, around IMP CAE C VIB VOLVSIANO AVG, rev. Pax standing to left, holding olive branch and transverse sceptre, around PAX AVGG, (S.9757, RIC 211, RSC 66); another Antioch mint, ssued 252, (3.632 grams), obv. as above, rev. FELICITAS PVBL around, Felicitas standing left resting on column, holding long caduceus and cornucopiae, (S.9746, RIC 205, RSC 32). Last toned, both good very fine. (2)

With collectors descriptive ticket and second with Pegasi Numismatics Ann Arbor, USA, dealer ticket for $175 and previously from the W.C. Boyd Collection, Sold Baldwin's London, September 26, 2005.
