ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 221-2, (3.16 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped to right, around IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. around SVMMVS SACERDOS AVG, Elagabalus standing to left, sacrificing at altar, star above, (S.7549, RIC 146, RSC 276). Weak in places, good very fine.
